Welcome to the PRC Accreditation and Compliance Online Application System. Your use of this system means that you agree to the terms and conditions as defined below. The PRC may update or modify the Terms of Service from time to time without notifying you; therefore, your continued use of the Service after such modification will constitute your acceptance.

PRIVACY

The information gathered from this site will be treated as highly confidential. The PRC may use your contact information in order to send an e-mail and/or other communications regarding your status or updates about this service. We may also use your data for statistics, summaries, researches and studies for the development of new markets and standards. The PRC will only retain personal data as long as it is utilized for its intended purpose.

SECURITY POLICY

Security Systems

PRC deploys intrusion detection systems, firewalls, encryption systems and other internal controls which are meant to safeguard, physically and logically, all our servers and information systems, including the data stored in these systems. Furthermore, it has an in-house Database Management and Network Management Divisions that secure the maintenance of the whole facility.

Email

Online applications will automatically generate an email response to applicants registered email address. PRC encourages applicants to continually check their email for the status of their applications.

Password Protection

All applicants visiting the Accreditation and Compliance Online Application System pass through the Log-in authentication process. You are advised to keep your password confidential at all times. Change your password frequently, or change it immediately password has been compromised.

REGISTRATION OBLIGATIONS

In consideration of the use of this Service, you agree to provide true and complete information as required in the Application Form.
Registrants agree NOT to do any of the following:
• Posting incomplete, false or inaccurate information;
• Disclosing to or sharing own password with any third party or using own password for any unauthorized purposes;
• Printing, downloading, duplicating or copying and using any personally identifiable information about other users;
• Impersonating any person or entity or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity;
• Violating or attempting to violate the security of this site, including accessing data not intended for you or logging into a server or account which you are not authorized to access, probing or testing the vulnerability of a system or network, attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network. Violations of this security may result in civil or criminal liability.
• Using this site in order to transmit, distribute or store materials in violation of any applicable law or regulation, or in any matter that will infringe the copyright.
• Using any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any activity being conducted on this site.

PASSWORD USAGE

System user is fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and for all activities that occur under his/her account. User agrees to (a) immediately notify the PRC of any unauthorized use of his/her Password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensures that the user logs out from his/her account at the end of each session.

User is responsible to ensure that only he/she has access to the information by keeping his/her User ID and Password secured. As such, user subscribes and agrees to the following:

• Assume full responsibility for all transactions made in his/her account through the use of his/her User ID and Password. It is understood that the Password is only known to him/her and as such, any transaction conducted using his/her account shall be presumed authorized by him/her.
• Undertake to change his/her password from time to time as he/she deemed necessary and should he/she feels that his/her Password has been compromised; he/she shall immediately change his/her Password through the CPD Accreditation System Password Facility.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Registrants acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for the content of and accuracy of the information placed by them on this site. The PRC does not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy or reliability of any information posted by the registrants. The PRC, however, reserves the right to the following:

• Request the applicants to submit hardcopy of PRC accreditation and compliance requirements in order to verify the authenticity of the posted information in case the applicants are pre-qualified by the PRC.
• The PRC does not warrant that this site will operate error-free or that its server is free of computer viruses or other harmful computer programs. The website content is provided on an "AS-IS" basis without any warranties of any kind. PRC, to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose and non-infringement. PRC makes no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the website content, services, software, text, graphics, and links.
• You acknowledge and agree that PRC may preserve Content and may also disclose Content if required to do so by law or in the good faith believes that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce the Terms and Conditions; (c) respond to claims that any Content violates the rights of third-parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the PRC, its users, and the public.

PAYMENT AND FORFEITURE OF FEES

Payment of the processing fee shall be made after the system accepts the online application.
Failure to comply with all the requirements during the prescribed period, processing fee paid shall be forfeited in favor of the government.
Regardless of the outcome or decision on the submitted application, processing fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

VIOLATIONS

In any case of fraudulent, misdeclaration of the applicant in the use of this Service, the PRC may reject or black list the applicant to prevent his/her further access to the PRC's site, at any time for breaching the terms and conditions of this Service and/or for violating the applicable laws.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that all personal data collected from you are processed in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and pertinent issuances of the National Privacy Commission.

The PRC collects personal information either manually or electronically. For manual collection, printed forms/documents are made available and are accomplished by the data subjects or their authorized representative/s. For online transactions, data is collected through encoding of information in this website.

2. PURPOSE OF COLLECTION AND USE OF DATA COLLECTED: The PRC collects, uses, and stores personal information for the following purposes:

a. To perform its mandate relative to the regulation and licensing of the various professions under its jurisdiction
b. To provide better service and give the transacting public proper response/feedback
c. To be able to provide the appropriate action that a data subject may require concerning their data privacy rights.

3. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA: The PRC only shares your information if required by law, or if necessary, for compliance associated with a non-disclosure agreement to keep and treat all of your information confidential and subject to duly executed Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs).

4. DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY MEASURES: The PRC protects personal data collected by instituting protection measures aimed at minimizing the risks involved in data processing. It implements technical, organizational and physical security measures to protect your personal data against data breach, unauthorized or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or destruction.

● The Technical Measures include, among others: deployment and installation of firewalls, load balancer, file encryption, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), conduct of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, access controls, and data backup.
● The Physical Security Measures include, among others: Design of office space/work station (computers are positioned with considerable spaces between them to maintain privacy and protect the processing of personal data); Access procedure of agency personnel (only authorized personnel shall be allowed inside rooms where data are stored);
● The Organizational Measures include, among others: Data Minimization (only collect and processes personal information necessary for the specified purposes); Data Retention Policies (only retain personal data in electronic format, and only for as long as it is utilized for its intended purpose); Privacy Training for Employees; Appointment of DPO and reconstitution of Data Privacy Committee.

5. STORAGE, RETENTION, AND DISPOSAL: Personal Information manually collected (paper-based documents) are kept in secure locations/filing cabinets/boxes in locked rooms, accessible only to authorized personnel. Digital/electronic files are stored in computers and servers/clouds protected by passwords and accessible to a limited number of authorized and trained personnel. Data Retention Periods and Disposal are observed and conducted in accordance with policies/practices compliant with NAP (National Archives of the Philippines) guidelines and other applicable rules/issuances.
